Project 1: Development of spatiotemporal database and enhanced floristic vegetation mapping in support of honey bee product development and associated CRCHBP initiatives

I completed my undergraduate degree in 2019 at the University of Western Australia, majoring in Environmental Science and Geographical Sciences. I have a keen interest for all things spatial and a great love for our natural environment.

My work for the CRCHBP has been centred around identifying and spatially investigating the flowering seasons of flora at a number of Noongar Land Enterprise (NLE) farms located across the South West of Western Australia. Using this information, participating apiarists can be more accurately informed about when/where they should position their hives at different times of the year to yield an optimum honey production
