The analysis of antimicrobial bioactive components of Australian Leptospermum honeys and nectars – Status report 2020

Following on from this original update, researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast have produced a full report.

“The project quantifies the bioactive molecules, DHA, MGO and HMF in Leptospermum nectars and honeys by HPLC. It continues the mapping the geographical distribution of Australian Manuka honey production in Australia and analyses the species-specific nectar production of DHA.”
